Geophysicist

Job Description: Seislink has a need for a Geophysicist to assess customer needs, analyze data, perform velocity modeling and updating, manage migrations, consult and train clients.

Qualifications: MS or PhD in Geophysics or Computer Sciences or EE or Statistics

Software Engineer

Job Description: Has a working understanding of technology, software development, database design, large volume data storage and manipulation, and general system interaction. This person provides a solid, reliable technical product for every release.

Responsibilities:

Interact closely with management on technical development.
Develop code utilizing accepted and proven design criteria.
Design and set up implementations of internal processing software based solutions.
Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
Proven software development skills and knowledge of programming languages including C# (primary), C++, java and related services, act.
Must have the ability to write any documentation required including: Specifications/Functional Technical documents/and detailed diagrams including UML and ERD diagrams/models.
Able to make decisions and take action when there is not enough information to predict the consequences with certainty.
Available to be On-Call for operational systems support when needed.
